Understand An Issue

Some of the issues affecting shooting are complicated. The information can be spread across lengthy reports, consultations, legislation, guidance, policy documents and different organisations, which can make it difficult to work out what is actually happening and what it could mean for you.

This section is being built to bring that information together and make it easier to understand.

Each issue will look at what’s happening, the background to it, the evidence and sources behind it, and the questions people are asking or may want answered.

Where something can be explained simply, we’ll explain it simply. Where it needs more detail, we’ll give it more detail.

The aim is to give you enough information to understand the issue and make up your own mind about it.
